1) NAMING CONVENTIONS - FILES / EMAILS
WHY: You can never find communications and files you need. And...in consideration of others' organization.
WHAT: Name things - simply, obviously, concisely.
HOW: Name it in a way to make it at-a-glance obvious to the recipient. If you or they need to search and find an email or file...is that easy to do?

GOOD EMAIL SUBJECT : 6/3 Mtg Re: Proposal for Quark Widget Co
BAD FILE NAME : Picture
GOOD FILE NAME : Quark HQ Pic 201806
*Note : listing dates on ANYTHING in a sortable way is great...think longterm...in above example the year is 2018 and the month June. If you create files, spreadsheets with YEAR, MONTH, DAY, they will always sort in order, as days and years pass...20180607 = 2018, June 7
2) KEEP CHECKLISTS
WHY: Know exactly what to jump in on and get the satisfaction of completion, with each done task
WHAT: Pen on paper - literal boxes with tasks next to them work. TRELLO is a great APP that functions almost like sticky notes moving from column to column as tasks are worked on. There are many many products to help you with this or make your own on plain ol' paper!
HOW: Just start doing it. Get a system that works for you.

3) BE SPECIFIC
WHY: Vague notions are a lot harder to execute.
HOW: Break down EVERY SINGLE STEP which must be taken. Whether it's starting up a new company division or making a kid's halloween costume. If there is a stall or only limited time to allot to a project at scattered times, rather than doing it in one fell swoop - break it into pieces and add them individually to your checklist.

3) Cut out eye and nose holes
4) Cut off all edges for a rugged look
5) Tie-Dye sheet because this is a hippie ghost...
WHAT: Don't answer calls or emails immediately if the incoming communication got you riled up or irritated.
WHY: Fire on fire creates a bigger fire and does NOT get shit done the best it can be done. It makes everyone more irritated and angry and not do their best work, with clarity.
HOW: Unless you are a surgeon and literally have lives on the line, almost everything can wait. Two minutes, ten minutes, until the afternoon or next day. Deep breath, cool down, respond with calm, good judgement. Remember everyone has feelings and issues. What's worth fighting for?
